This is a classic framed John Ruskin American lithograph in very good condition. Colors have faded with time, but it's still a remarkable piece of art. This has not been retouched in any way, so it is starting to show it's age if you look closely enough. Classic frame that's still in good shape. Dimensions of the frame increase the size to 27.5" x 35.5". John Ruskin lived from 1819 - 1900. We know that a slightly larger (27" x 37.5") version of this painting in restored condition, framed under glass, sold on Oct. 04, 2014 for $3,500. A smaller (19" x 26") and unframed version with pin holes sold at the Burley Auction Gallery in New Braunfels, TX, on Aug. 20, 2022 for $800, with an estimated value of up to $2,000. Another smaller (21" x 28") framed version sold at auction on May 11, 2019 for $950.
