This endearing vintage Hummel figurine features a boy sitting in front of a fence, plucking petals from a flower. The work of master sculptor Arthur Moeller in the 1940's, this piece was released in 1945 and has been in continuous production in one size since. The earliest models were produced with eyes open and a very small feather in the hat. The current production pieces have the eyes cast downward. This figurine has a stamp from 1955 on the underside of the base. It is previously owned and is in very good vintage condition with no cracks or breaks (see photos). Original box is not included. Figurine is packaged with love to ensure safety while it makes its way to you. It will be an excellent addition to any Goebel collection.
