Antique Custom Handmade Double Oxen / Cattle Yoke
RARE FIND!
This is an authentic vintage hand carved double oxen yoke that's in gorgeous condition. Comes with everything seen in the photos. Some artisan put a great deal of time into this very solid piece, and it is well taken care of. The ends are wrapped and bolted in what appears to be Iron. The hand carved flowers on the front are amazingly detailed. There appear to be no defects or damage on any of the pieces, leaving us to believe that it was either intended to be decorative, or never used. We are not aware of the age of this piece, but it looks like it could be from the 1800's. This is the most stunning piece of this type of collectible that we’ve ever seen. Measures 46" long, 9" tall, and 3.5" deep. Each of the four attachments measure 23.5" long, 1.75" wide and 1.5" deep. It weighs 18lbs 4oz together with all the pieces.
